Star in my sky
must I accept such cruel fate
alone with my crown of precious stone
here Its worth nothing at all
Darkness fills my eyes
the waves swallow me whole
alone with my heart of precious stone
here I've learned nothing at all
I think that it's over now
Now I can see
I am a troglodyte disguised as a tiny sailor
I am an anchor disguised as a man
I am the sandcastle built by the dreams of a little boy
I have no appendages and am inhabited by microfauna
I am left behind
so let the waves crush me and ware me to my bones
spilling me across this endless expanse of detritus and detritivores
consuming and disposing endlessly
over and over
